Here is a new project I have started working on.  6x45 or (6mm-223).  Just a .223 Remington necked up to 6mm.  It's not new by any means but this little cartridge is a sleeper now that a bottom metal for magazine feeding is available.  It really comes alive with some of the new VLD bullets.  In particular the 95gr Berger VLD.  It is no problem to launch this high BC bullet at 2800 fps.  It only takes a measly 26 grains of powder! (depending on the powder)
